Booklets,
brochures of various types and reports are printed in the standard
A series (A3, A4, A5, A6) of sizes, and also in many custom
sizes. Landscape orientation as well as portrait orientation
is available, including A4 landscape with full wrap
covers.

Soft cover
perfect binding (or glue binding) as often used for reports,
prospectuses and novels
- Saddle stitch binding (like notebooks stapled from the spine to
the centre)
- Wire spiral binding
- Plastic Spiral Binding
- Plastic Comb binding
- Hard Cover or case bound binding
Paper Stocks Choices for Booklet, Brochure and Report
Printing
A wide rangs of stocks are available from an unusual very light
60gsm uncoated stock, through to 80gsm and above uncoated, and
coated matt and gloss stocks. Speciality translucent and
textured stocks are also available. Typical paper
specificaitons include:
Economical.
80gsm uncoated stock inside, and covers either self cover (the
same) or 150gsm uncoated art stock.
Quality. 100gsm
uncoated art stock or 115gsm coated stock inside pages, combined
with matching covers of 180gsm uncoated, or 210gsm coated
stock.
Premium. 120gsm
uncoated art stock, or 130gsm to 150gsm coated stock inside pages,
combined with matching covers in 300gsm. Matt laminated to
the outside faces of the covers.
Print Files - Art Work
People
have supplied artwork in a wide range of forms over the
years. The first choice for producing print artwork is to
use Adobe
Indesign which is the
tool almost all professionals use. Another option
is Microsoft
Publisher. Or for
documents that are largely just text Microsoft
Word can also work
very well. All of these programmes allow the work to be saved
(or exported) to a pdf file which is used to print
from.
Other document types that information has been supplied on
previuosly include: Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft
Powerpoint, Microsoft Excel, Google Docs
etc. Material supplied on paper can be scanned.
